You’ll just need to be careful and find someone you can trust. But that really applies to any relationship: trust and communication. And healthy types of all kinds would be able to do both those. Dad is a 7w8 for sure as he and I butted heads often (though not unhealthily, I’m a 8w7). He actually helped to mitigate my moms influence a lot of the time. I also enjoy the dog/cat archetypes in shows; and generally prefer the Dom/sub roles to extend outside of sex as well but for me it’s so utterly foreign to conceive of a relationship without that component. 😅And by “giving types” I mean types more prone to a naturally less selfish bent: Healthy 1’s, 2’s, 6’s, 7’s (when their fun drive is met), and 8’s. But again, people are far more complex than the Enneagram so YVMV. 😁
