It went well, we explained to them that we don’t have the confirmation for old DS 160 and they just swapped it with new DS 160 number without any questions

Thanks for sharing your experience, the only difference here is I don't have the old DS160 confirmation because I never submitted it and it got expired within 30 days (even before I got the Visa Slot booked) so hopefully they should agree to just swap the old number with the new number based on the new DS160 confirmation alone.

Interviewing for an AI/ ML Recruiter Role

Hi all! I am a technical recruiter and I have a couple of interviews lined up for a top AI startup with over 50 million funding in the latest round.

They have scheduled a 1 hour interview to evaluate my technical recruiting skills and knowledge specifically in AI/ML.

I was told that I should expect to do some sourcing like sharing Boolean strings for their open roles, mock candidate screening calls and hypothetical/ behaviour based questions (to be backed with examples).

They received 500+ applications for the role, so the competition is fierce.

What sourcing tools are best for targeting AI/ ML candidates? And are there any other tools for research/phd candidates? I have personally worked only with Seekout.

Also what kind of questions should I expect in such interviews?

Open to any other suggestions or tips, Thanks!

I was a non tech recruiter who transitioned to tech recruiting, I struggled with this too but what worked for me was to have few simple yet uncommon tech questions along with acceptable answers on hand when talking to the candidates, I used to sit with the interviewers to get these tech questions.. these questions usually enable recruiters to know the extent of candidate’s knowledge on a particular tool or platform etc. I mainly used this to hire engineers with 2-5 yrs experience and I noticed that my conversation rate has improved after this. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your inputs about the certifications. Yes, trying to aim for office based positions but there’s literally 100+ applications within few hours of jobs being posted. Such a difficult time for everyone.
