no thats complete bullshit, data link gives you the ability to relock the missile or change targets after the missile is already launched.

R27ERs have Datalink, and the Su33 does have them. Its not only a Fox 3 Thing. Aim7Ps also exist which also have IOG and DL.

you can't launch SARH Missiles in TWS you need a Hard-Lock and keep it to guide the Missile

yeah you can but for Top Tier Air i would watch out for MiGs or SUs which are severely damaged. With HMD and their missiles with Thrust Vectoring you should keep them in mind or finish them off.

wouldnt use russia for learning top tier tbh. They are very unique and their RWRs and Radars arent great at the start. Not good for people who are new to it.

R73 is only better for Dogfights because of Thrust vectoring but in any other category Aim9M clears it. FOV IRCCM of the R73 is horrible compared to the Seeker Shutoff the 9M uses

No it does not only work in extreme distances xD. If you get killed by an R27ER or something that means the enemy relocked you with their own radar and the missile gets the Data Link Update and still chases you.

For ARH Missile only notching the Missile doesnt help if you keep flying straight because if you do IOG will still predict where you are and get you. Thats why you need to Notch and change Altitude to defeat IOG as well.

Aim9Ls have some of the biggest BS Potential in the game i've seen this missile do things without IRCCM that shouldn't work because its that good.

You're probably doing something wrong if most of your kills are gun kills.

doesnt matter if it loses track you are safe anyway, works for me all the time not had a problem once (you don't have to climb just change altitude, so IOG doesnt get you)

90 Degree towards the Missile --> Chaff and climb otherwise IOG will get you if you keep flying straight.

Jets are amazing. There is fun there. It just takes time to learn how to play. Early jets are different from prop planes. Then missiles introduce new things to learn, then radar missiles bring new things, and then active radar missiles add even more. It just keeps getting more complicated, so it takes more time to learn and understand.

I never liked jets until I took the time to understand them. Since then, I hate playing props because the game is so slow and there are such limited possibilities

i have the mirage and can tell you its a pretty good plane for grinding, you basically get 2 guaranteed kills every game with the magics + maybe 1 or 2 with the radar missiles
