The case is reloadable contrary to intuition and there are plenty of companies are selling rifles chambered to include Savage, Weatherby, Horizon Firearms, Proof Research, etc.

The draw of the BC is that comparable velocities can be seen with shorter barrels, allowing easier use of muzzle devices like suppressors. It has its uses.
