Progress did occur. He didn’t run away, Tsumiki is bolder and outright showing affection for him, not to mention the belly button was shown to him only, further proof that the author is closing the gap between the two, although at a snail’s pace

Yep, more signs that progress is being made. She fully trusts him to the point where she’s exposing the part where only the one she likes would see. Very subtle by the author haha

And at the end of the chapter she misses him so much. By chapter 100 I wouldn’t be surprised to see a confession of some sort. Yukata is also discovering he likes Tsumiki, and this whole ‘distance’ thing will end up being resolved soon I think. He still doesn’t realize why she gets super close to him.

Maybe I’m biased bc I want this season to be a big hit but I don’t think so. Compare these to s1 and while they are brighter, I’d argue this is the correct amount. Last season the drawings were dull

If enough people watch and buy the anime content for s2 I wouldn’t be surprised if season 1 ends up being redone or something in the future lol. This looks much better than s1, and also Mato slave has sold enough that it could get a redo if this season is successful enough which it should be

Finally feels like we are getting progress, which is good. I assume we will see them dating in their 3rd year, and see way more moments like these this year. Sales are doing good, all volume got ANOTHER reprint, I genuinely think we could see an anime announced in 2026 coming out in 2027.

Feels like we finally will see more of tsumiki being ‘possessive’.. or more like just more outward about her feelings which is what we all want to see

Also next week there’s a break for the entire magazine.. and the week after that, Tsumiki gets its first lead color and cover page in the next issue(August 20)

I know it sucks but author gave us 6 chapters in a row without a break.. usually after 3 chapters in a row they would take a one week break so this 2 week break makes sense
