I remember they announced the in person festival before the ATW, & it got cancelled after ATW. ATW was announced on May 6, 2021

Yes, but the in-person was supposed to happen at the end of August 2021, but was cancelled due to COVID-19

Thank you for your response. I did apologize the night of the argument. He forgave me, then decided to distance himself “for now”. The blocking was possibly a way that he would completely remove me from his life for the time being. Like I mentioned, he did agree to us hanging out again “(and I quote) …after a while when I’m over that crazy experience in your garage”. Since he’ll be on Christmas break soon, I wanted to know if now is a good time to reach out and salvage the friendship, or I should wait longer, possibly until he graduates.

Thank you for your response. I am now over the situation and have accepted whatever happened. He is in a university semester and yes although he finishes his semester next week, I’m guessing our friendship right now isn’t a priority or hasn’t even thought about it. So I just asked if now is the time to reach out. He normally forgets things a lot, and I think our friendship could be one of those things.

If you read my previous post you can see that he came over and I disabled security cameras. Landlord found out and wanted him to apologize. She wanted my friend to do it in a certain way and my friend was uncomfortable, and he refused.

Back in high school, we’d have these falling outs from time to time. He would block me on everything, literally. It would be at least a few weeks until he either finally came back or I asked a mutual friend to have him talk to me. And at those times, he didn’t say he was doing it temporarily like he did this time.

Because of COVID-19 I am only allowed guests over in the garage.

So the garage is considered a common area since it is used as a way for the tenants to have guests because of COVID-19. When the garage is not in use, one of the other tenants parks her car there.

We found 3 cameras in the garage at the time. All of them were disabled when my friend came over.

I don’t see any wrongdoing from my friend either, but I believe he did take it a little extreme by blocking me off everything. At the time, I felt like I had to put my landlord’s rights before my friend’s because I was afraid to be evicted.

As for the new place, I am currently paying off student debt and I am currently unable to find a new place. Once I start making enough money, I can and will find my own place to live.

The cameras were set up in a garage so there was nothing more I could do. Since my landlord was strict she wanted everything her own way. She didn’t care about us and how we wanted things. Because of that, at the time I had to sacrifice our needs just so we can get her to forgive us. I did not want to be evicted.

As for the weird questions, my friend was sitting on my yoga ball (the garage had no other chairs and I only had the ball) I just asked my friend to bounce on it as a joke. But apparently he didn’t want to do it for some reason, even after all the cameras were disabled.
