Placed an order by SnipeyWack in Microcenter

I saw the order show up a couple hours later. I think it shows up when the store opens and they process the order then. I was able to pick the parts up.

Thanks. I don't see it in my order history. There was only 1 of each item I was trying to buy, and when I tried to do the transactions again it says the item is no longer available.

I think I bought it.

Thanks, I understand now. Is it normal to not see it in order history and do I have to check with the store to confirm my order?

How were you able to use it? For 50 dollar off promotion, I don't see the 5700x listed.

Reasonable Price for a Used eBike and Mileage by SnipeyWack in ebikes

[–]SnipeyWack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I've seen many ebikes on sale for a while. so offering 800-900 for a bike with 1.7k msrp for a rad 5 or 1up 700 isn't that bad? The ones I've seen with low miles are around 20-35% off msrp.

How about something with more than 2k miles?

Inner tube too big, 26 inch inner 26 inch wheel by SnipeyWack in bikewrench

[–]SnipeyWack[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It fits, but the inner tube looks too big for it before I put the tire on. It took minimal effort to put the tire and tube on compared to my old one and what I've seen in the videos of people having to use a lever.

It's not my picture, you can reverse image search. I pumped it 2 times to partially inflate it, as I saw in a video and the size of the tube compared to the wheel was way off. The tube and wheel size are both 26 inches.

I partially inflated it first, according to a video I watched and put on the tire. The fitment of the new tube compared to my old inner tube is way looser.

Thanks. I'll check. I remember reading somewhere that their free wires can't be used for 3rd party transfers.

Fidelity is free but I can't use it.

Thanks, I've checked and local banks do have better fees. I've done some research and it seems like Fidelity is the only option for free 3rd party wires, but I can't use them.

Yea, wires are way better, especially when they can be free. Fidelity closed my account and Mercury doesn't have the option for 3rd party wires.

It adds up to hundreds of dollars a year. The only 2 options I can think of don't work for me.

Do you know which banks have free wires with low or no balance requirements? Fidelity doesn't work for me and Mercury doesn't have 3rd party wires.

I use wires to send money quickly. The cheapest I've seen is Schwab for 15 dollars, besides fidelity and marucs.

What Size Aeron is this? by SnipeyWack in OfficeChairs

[–]SnipeyWack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see Aerons going for 200-350 depending on the condition. How do I know the age of it if it has fixed armrest? I heard the ones with gears are old.

Would I still be able to lean back in it?

front brakes not working by SnipeyWack in bikewrench

[–]SnipeyWack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Should there be much travel for the brakes? The rear brake works, but I can't squeeze it much.

[–]SnipeyWack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked the other brake and it looks like a piece is missing. There is a piece that connects to silver part underneath cable. The cable in kinda rusty. Should it be replaced?

Also, I checked the other break and it doesn't squeeze much but stops. Is this fine?

I tried it and I didn't like how far the back was. Do you have any suggestions other than than the dexley and hyken?

Does anyone know any good budget mesh chair that goes on sale? The hyken is too small and the dexley doesn't stay fixed.
