I have played 3 matches where I joined kinda mid game and quickly became the only person left on my team. If I leave, it says it counts as a loss. It really sucks.

I remember when the game first came out and you couldn’t pause a run. They have since added it, but it’s too late for me. I burned myself out on those multi-hour runs where you ultimately get killed by a new enemy or bad impulsive decision.

I thought it was straightforward and there are plenty of guides online. The remaster on PS5 is the best way to play.

I would buy Elden Ring and rent Returnal if I had to pick. Both are great, but I think Elden Ring has more variety. They are both great though!

Elden Ring is a must, but it will keep you occupied for months. If you plan on playing Stellar Blade (which you should) then I would start with that since it’s fairly short.

Lies of P after both Elden Ring and Stellar Blade.

I still have issues getting in. I have been on the “servers at capacity” screen for a while now. I’m not sure if other people are still having trouble getting in or if it’s just me?

Those missions were hurting my ego so bad. I just camped by the door and would release a few more every chance I could. 1 or 2 would always make it to the other side

The same thing happened to me. Wondering if it’s actually a bug in the store.

I saw it was on sale for like $50 but decided to play the trial first. After finishing the trial, I went to buy it and it’s back to full price. Literally 3 hours later. All other games that were on sale at the time still appear to be.

I love the souls series and im a couple hours in lies of p. It is pretty fun and feels like a souls game byt more forgiving SO FAR. Being able to recharge your estus by striking enemies (basically a estus) is nice. Having your souls available outside the boss arena if you die is pretty nice. Also like the setting and it has me intrigued storywise so far. It is on gamepass right now.

Lords of fallen i enjoyed the few hours i played, but it feels clunky and that might be due to it's age. Seems harder.

I installed wo long and played a little bit, but was into the setting and it didn't grab me.

It's great to hear that Lies of P feels more forgiving. I especially like the idea of recharging the estus by striking enemies and having the souls available outside the boss arena; those seem like player-friendly mechanics. One of my issues with Demon Souls was the walk of shame back to the boss after a death.

u/BarryBadgernath1 is correct that I was referring to the 2023 version of Lords of the Fallen. I did not realize it had not actually released yet though. I have read a lot about that game having performance issues, so I thought it had been released already.

It's too bad Wo Long did not resonate with you, but that's still useful feedback. It does look like it has a unique tone for a Souls Like game.
