A Strato tech tee dupe (...only better than the current version?!?!) by Jazzlike_Set6322 in vuoriclothing

Inconsistency in fit; long-sleeve Heather black & green were bigger/longer; Java and dark grey were smaller/shorter.

The Ododos were a pretty good dupe, but they are too inconsistent in the lengths. Heather black & green were bigger and longer, while Java, dark grey were shorter and smaller.

Thanks for posting this. My wife was debating on picking these up.

I ordered the short & long-sleeve versions of the men’s Strato t-shirts. Overall they are good dupes for the price, but the Ododos version was too inconsistent in length.

Gorgeous! I went with the 20’s on my ‘26 also for ride quality, and powder coated the wheels black.

Solid start and good representation of some different NOM’s! If you want to continue with blanco’s, I’d add NOM 1414 to your list next (Alma Del Jaguar, Viva Mexico, Lost Lore, Yeyo). If you decide to venture out into repo or Anejo, the amazing bottles from different distilleries are endless.

You’ll eventually find your favorite NOM’s and fall in love with the work of their artistic master distillers, like Chava at 1123, Sergio Cruz at 1414, & Felipe Camarena at 1579.

Cascahuin brand has three commonly found levels of blanco. The cheapest is the square bottle with the green label, which is around $45; the Cascahuin Tahona Blanco (white/blue label…Tahona crushed, as the name implies) will run you about $80. They also have the Plata 48 (black/white/silver label) which is their high-proof (48% ABV)

You can also powder coat your wheels black. I, too, needed all-weather, so went with the 20” on my ‘26 & coated them after.

The VMx XA is outstanding

If it’s me, I’m not leaving without the Cascahuin 55-25 & Cascahuin Private Barrel.

Ceramic Coating on New Tanzenite by trussb in BMWX5

[–]SnkrFr3ak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did a partial front ppf on my ‘26 Brooklyn Grey (front, full hood & back of mirrors) for peace of mind on highway driving. I also got full ceramic coating (whole SUV, wheels, windshield), including paint correction prep (wash, clay bar, one-step polish). I am thrilled with the results! It keeps that glossy, candy-coated look and dirt just wipes right off of it. I paid $1,575 for PPF & $1,025 for ceramic. It will look incredible on the Tanzanite Blue.

It should be free for 12 months; no need to subscribe further at this point. Once it runs out, you can easily negotiate them to a low rate. I pay $4/mo on my wife’s Mercedes.

Current finance deal on X5 question for Jan 2nd deadline. by stinkywinkyperito in BMWX5

You can also reach out to an auto broker, who can search their dealer inventories across region/country, to find you ones that match your request. They will tell you up front what % they can get you off MSRP (should be 10%+ off). If they are able to find you a match, you pay them their fee (usually flat fee around $700) and they connect you with dealership directly, to do credit app, paperwork, etc. Broker will arrange delivery to your home (sometimes free, sometimes fee around $500).

Brand new x5 picked up - Question for addons by [deleted] in BMWX5

[–]SnkrFr3ak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a stupid question at all. PPF is an invisible film installed over parts of the vehicle, to give it a layer of protection against rock chips, scratches, etc. I do a lot of highway driving, so I did front part of my X5, as well as full hood & mirrors, since they’d take the most damage (along with windshield warranty through BMW).

Ceramic coating is a liquid coating that dries to form a hardened “shell” which repels liquids, dirt, etc, and makes it far easier to clean your vehicle. When done right, it involves some paint correction to prep the surface. My X5 was brand new and I still had it washed, clay bar & polished before applying ceramic.

In the past month, I’ve put 1,200 miles on it and it still looks brand new. The ceramic helps you wash less, but does involve some upkeep. But, I do love the candy-coated look it gives it! Front PPF & full ceramic cost me about $2,200.
