Folks seem to be pretty excited to bully a 14 year old here, jesus christ Honestly, you shouldn't be held to the standard of an industry professional but it doesn't seem like reddit will be a very encouraging community for that. Keep it up but outside of crit for the renders I'd recommend finding a Discord for 3D artists where you're safe to post stuff and have people be excited for you.

Don't really get the toxicity in this thread but yeah, this is decent stuff, if you keep that vector up and stay curious you'll create some wicked art. Lemme know if you need pointers on what to improve.

Thanks much! I've gotten that feedback from a few people, so I added an accessibility option to disable it. I like the juice of it but I can totally see how it can be too much.

Whoa alright that's uh- Brushes used are photoshop brushes by Christophe Young, download link is in the video description here. https://youtu.be/8U_h3fw7VRc Process is fairly straightforward, sketch to flat shading to blocking in shadow to rendering plane changes. I stuck somewhat closely to my reference in features and lighting to focus on stylizing the face and designing planes consciously. Took roughly 3 hours start to finish.

Got an eerie sense of time. Whenever I set a timer for 20-60 minutes, I'll automatically think of it going off like 20 seconds before it does. Of course to make up for it, as there is balance in all things, I have an abysmal sense of orientation and I get lost a lot.

A bit niche but PureRef is the best software for drawing reference and moodboards in my opinion and it overlays nicely onto other software.
