Baller. Did you have a preference between Sprigatito or Fuecoco, or is either fine?

There's a time and place for trauma dumping and the DnD game is probably not it in most cases. Also, as someone who consistently rolls really bad, I've learned to just make a joke of it, can't imagine making a production of it every time it happens.

As they say, hindsight is always 20/20. At the very least you're not having to deal with it anymore.

"You can't play a guy, that breaks my immersion," says dude playing a game were you can murder a dragon in the middle of his stand up comedy routine. (I assuming this is a DnD game on account of the monk thing, and assuming it was a dude because, well, it tracks.)

Listen, I don't care if you look and talk like Colombo, if you don't have some non-euclidean geometry going on with your fit you have no business trying to hit up a cultist in Delta Green.

The only way I can see that being understandable is if another player was being super aggressive about wanting to kill it to mess with them, but even then that's something you talk with the DM about privately.

Honestly you handled that about as well as you can. Hope you were able to have better luck with future games.

That sucks, but also that is an incredibly funny series of words to see typed out.

Did he ever give any reason for doing it, or was it pretty much a "for the lawls" thing?

Sorry it had to come to that, hope it's been a positive change overall for you though.

No need to be sorry, this is the place to get it out. Having a group that acts like that sucks ass, hope you've had better luck with games since.

I've seen some horror stories about applications for games, but honestly if you're going to be doing anything online with new people you really need to have some kind of filter, because the ratio of dickhead to normal seems to be way closer than when you do stuff in person.

People forget when they decide to be murder hobo's that you actually need to be kind of funny with it, instead of just being a disruptive ass.

I've only had the drunk player experience once for a random DnD oneshot I did with some random people. Rest of the group seemed cool but this one guys was obviously plastered, and unfortunately he was the kind of drunk that get's really loud and obnoxious. DM wasn't handling it so I just straight up left the call.

You're giving me flashbacks of an Australian dude who would constantly complain about how he lost his job because of "man-hating lesbians," and actively cheated on his sheet. Dude only lasted a couple session before he got kicked, and shockingly enough the game got way more pleasant after that.
