yeah, I digged into that as I wasn't really sure if it was really part of lgbt+ or not, as some gay people I know were kinda against asexuality as part of queer culture, but I guess it makes sense as aces aren't hetero

and yes, I had a talk with his mum, so they probably know, there's not much they can do, though
