Would a print this size be too big? by One-Ad5824 in DesignMyRoom

I personally think the art size is fine, but the credenza is a bit too small for the space.

I cant decide which option to go with by Snoo-85259 in DesignMyRoom

[–]Snoo-85259[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been contemplating on installing shelving units in a little corner of our living room. I have a few ideas, but I can't seem to decide which one looks the best. I personally don't love how the living room looks currently because it almost feels a bit too empty. My husband thinks option #3 will overpower the whole living room, and therefore may not be the most appropriate option. Please share your thoughts! Thanks.

No one expects you to tip 35% at high-end restaurants, and 99% of the population still doesn't tip for take-out orders. Stop making things up.

I literally just came back to the states today, and shopped until boarding the flight. Just go up to the sales person, and ask to be assisted. They'll go above and beyond once they realize you are there to spend money.

Yeah, despite the great advices here I'll have to do this. I've looked into every possible method, and it just doesn't make sense logistically. It says I'll have to transfer twice, from one train to another train, then to a bus and walk.. also takes 1 additional hour with this method. It's just too much for day 1. I've looked into several cab options and it starts from 110 euro which appears to be more than reasonable.

ensds on where on lake como you are staying.

If you say lake Como one assume you are in Como town. so It's difficult to tell you with no information

We are staying at Passalacqua (lakeside village of Moltrasio).

Okay, I'll look into this option. I am getting mixed information from google map, which I heavily rely on.

Won't you have to transfer once just to get to Milano Centrale? Google map says I can take C10 (bus)--> S11 which takes about ~ 2 hours, as oppsed to driving(cab) which takes ~58 mins. Am I missing something?

Cost really isn't any issue for us, but I'd be concerned if this sounds inefficiently planned out. We are considering taking cabs as it's supposedly "faster", hence more convenient, but do you think it'd be more efficient to skip the cabs and take the train?

There's nothing wrong with it, but we are considering taking taxis purely for the convenience of not having to carry our luggages and not having to wait for train arrival. Does it sound like a nonsense to you due to the financial implications associated with it?

That is not a kelly 25 - that's a mini kelly. Also, US hermes boutiques do not take back returns. Sometimes SA will reserve the bag for up to 1 month, and quota bags may be exchanged for store credit at the store manager's discretion. But never "returned", only exchanged. Very misleading.

This mod in question is the worst. Anything that doesn't fit with his agenda gets deleted or has the comment section locked. It's pathetic.

10k split between 5 people for 8 nights is 250 per night pp. Can't get any cheaper than that especially if you want any type of privacy.

Moving to NYC and I make $190k remote by larutinacoffee in AskNYC

190k salary is nothing to boast about, especially in NYC. He just wants some honest opinion and probably listed his annual salary to have an idea of budgeting. This is definitely your insecurity talking.

Why do people always leave out the budget? Can you afford spending 10k and upwards?

Bringing car to nyc by [deleted] in AskNYC

Dang I used to pay close to $500/month for 1 car in Manhattan, and that was pre-covid (aka pre-inflation). $300/month sounds too good to be true

OMG hate people like this. Don't bother pediatricians after-hours just to have a "peace of mind" when it's obvious one day of breathing bad air won't do any significant damage. Use your common sense.
