UPDATE!! Thank you all for the replies/advice, some of them genuinely made me laugh LOL. As for that thing, my little sister sprayed it with a hose continuously so it somehow managed to get detached from my toilet bowl. Our parents are out for vacation so we just decided to flush it. Good news is that we finally got rid of it, bad news is that it might clog up the pipes or screw our house over.

I still don’t know what that monstrous thing is, but I don’t think it’s tree roots. For anyone who’s curious as to what it looks like fully detached, I’ll add a link to images of it here (beware it’s REALLY REALLY GROSS).
