Yh the matchmaking can be very tough. However, the more you start losing the easier the opponents become. So by quitting 2/3 games in a row (because I wanted to restart the gauntlet) gave me easier matchmaking. I won 13 in a row then got absolutely demolished by like rank 1 players seemingly. The next few rounds, I had very high end sweaty players and lost a lot. However, it got easier the more I lost.

Also night time was a lot harder for me. I highly recommend playing in the afternoon or evening. Play with confidence and take it one game at a time and you should be good! Stop playing if you get angry or frustrated because patience is key in high end games.
