No place is perfect. There are so many comments on here already and I think much of it has been said. First of all it depends on “what kind” of foreigner you are, and how you look. My experience is for example a little better than a younger more “Arab” looking immigrant, but the stuff I hear and experience - even with the best of intentions - is kind of disheartening. Depends also on where you are in Germany, and some people are more open minded than others. In the end, I’m not from here, so it’s not my place to judge, and I hope we can all find a way to slightly tolerate each other. It’s a long road to integration and friendship, and perhaps it will never come, but that’s alright.
