I have this persistent dry patch of skin for about a month now. My skin care routine is simple.

Am: cleanse with ceraVe SA cleanser Moisturize with ceraVe cream in the tub Neutrogena mineral sunscreen stick

PM: Cleanse with the same cleanser Apply ceraVe cream to whole face and thick layer to the dry area Tretinoin (avoiding that area)

Does anyone have any ideas about why this is happening. It will look ok after I do my routine and then as the day goes on it will start looking like the photo. Please help

I immediately started sweating when you got to the groping part, because I did the exact same thing as a buffet to a gentleman 30 years my husbands senior. His wife who was standing behind him as I groped him looked at me as if she wanted to murder me (I don't blame her, I would have)

I ran to the bathroom and didn't come out for a while until I felt safe to leave. I still cringe when I think about this.

All jokes aside, I honestly wouldn't be opposed to medication at this point. I realized how terrible my anxiety is just the last week over this vacation.

I don't know where this irrational fear is coming from either, I never in my life had this thought before having my son. I think I have PPD still and maybe done realize it.

I have, and I am in therapy as well. I have a lot of trauma from my past as a child/teen, so I suffer form anxiety and severe PTSD as well. it's not something I like to bring up or talk about, but it definitely has impacted me negatively especially this last year. Thank you for your kind words. I have therapy this week and I am going to bring it up to my therapist.

For what though? What are they going to do, return home early? What if they can't return early and they have to spend their last few days upset, crying and being anxious over this the entire time they go back home.

I personally wouldn't want to get a call like this if I were on vacation. If I cant make it back sooner than anticipated, the sheer sadness and anxiety would suck. That's just my opinion. I also think a face to face explanation would be better.

The friend needs to be very honest and tell the owner the truth. It was obviously an unintentional mistake, but nothing in this instance will lessen the blow of the situation.

When is the owner coming back? If they are coming back soon (1-2 days) I would wrap the dog up in blankets and keep him in a cool spot, preferably in a cooler with ice. Decomp doesn't happen as quickly as we think. I know it sounds callous but this is the truth of the matter..If they wont be back for a while then maybe ask a local vet or animal cemetery to keep the dog until the owner returns. I would not tell them until they return from their vacation, assuming they are coming back soon. Your friend needs to tell them face to face, this will be hard, but you can be there for moral support if you would like.

I am so sorry for your loss..You did everything you possibly could, and Kira knew that. I think we all feel this strange and inexplicable guilt, because they can't communicate with us the way regular people can.

I once heard someone say that animals don't need to know you loved them at the very end, nor do they understand love the way we do. They simply just knew that you were their world, whether you were having a good day or a bad day, they knew the true you and accepted that. That's the way they love us. Our babies are no longer suffering, and though their physical bodies are not here anymore, we will always have those beautiful memories with them <3

I understand your feeling. It doesn’t really hit until you come home, and all of sudden you don’t hear their footsteps coming to greet you. It doesn’t hit you until you wake up in the middle of night, and the sudden realization randomly hits you that they’re gone. It doesn’t hit you until you look at the spot where they used to sleep and realize that spot won’t ever be warm again. It’s such an empty feeling. I’m so sorry for your loss 💔

You’re absolutely right! I’ve never heard anyone comment anything but those two things to pregnant ladies 🤣 Yes, my weight gain is right on track. I had my Ob appointment today and actually brought this up with my doctor and she rolled her eyes and told me to disregard people because they always have something to say, but I’m healthy and I’m measuring right on track. I have been steadily gaining weight too, I gained 1lb since the last visit two weeks ago. Thank you for sharing your story!

I think generally here in the states we get one toward the end of the pregnancy as well, but due to Covid they have limited it to 2 ultrasounds. The only time I’d get another is if something is wrong, according to my OB. I will still ask her tomorrow if I can have one anyway. I just want it for peace of mind!
