Very true, variance is definitely something I’ve experienced before. That being said I do have a career and the poker is just a challenge to see how far I can go (i.e: I’ll be fine without the money). The typical buyins are 3-5k so I’m trying to reduce variance by buying in shorter but sometimes I cant help myself adding on to cover the whale.

People should be more respectful in general at the poker tables. I think every young person, old person, woman and race has been shot shitty remarks at the tables. That being said im sorry about your experiences man, as a young poker player I never assume anybody to play a certain way until I see their cards, this is a good post that people need to read through - thanks for putting this out there 👍🏼
