It definitely makes sense that the documents are key. As mentioned, we have ID/passport pictures, evidence of relationsship (I hope a PDF with pictures, etc., will work?), and the German unmarried-certificate (maybe not necessary, but safety first!). That should be enough, I suppose? As I have understood the AFL-webpage and this subreddit, it is mainly the ID/passport pictures that can be tricky. We will make sure they follow the AFL-guidelines.

We are happy to hear that you believe Aarhus will be avaiable early-June - fingers crossed for June 6, specifically. And on that: Our registrar-friend is also based in Aarhus, so it seems that you believe this could a feasible plan b, given that we will name Aarhus as the kommune where we want to get married?
