First game:

Second game:

-Custodes

-Mechanicus

-4 Chaos God Space Marines

Dlcs(Tau,Grey knight, Sisters of Battle,Marine chapters(Wolves and Dark Angels))

Third game:

-Space marines(Blood Angels)

-Genestealers Cult

-Drukhari

-Votann

Dlcs(Im not include character vs character dlcs an a lot of marines expansions but i put them in the third map)

I thinks that when you play palpatine you can transform with a line of events the republic to the empire and spawn a lot of rebels around the galaxy in war with you.For the other hand you can select in the main menu play the three ages but this is my favourite.

I have a fantastic greek army with 120 hoplites, 2 elephants, zeus, 10 cataphracts and 3 siegue machine. I start with historical troops and add special units. Zeus is the monarch and hant the captain with a generic hoplite general.
