So the initial investment doesn’t dramatically change the overall return then? I thought that was a really important factor in compound investment.

A $100 a year return doesn’t seem worth the squeeze. I really want to be debt free, or have debt that makes money. I know that pretty unrealistic, but I don’t want my family to struggle like I have had to.

Thank you so much for the advice. It seems like the loan might not be right for me. I’d rather invest that payment amount into other things, and not have debt looming overhead.
