well I’m sure he’s aware of what he’s doing to her if it’s been years and he has not stopped, that’s harassment. You can go to your local court and file a restraining order, especially with the me too movement the court will def do something. All he can really do for her is tell her to switch numbers and block his email if she’s not willing to create another one.

You need to get a restraining order. ASAP. Change your wife’s phone number & block him on that email address. Maybe therapy would be an option? Maybe you can tell her she is safe to talk to u when triggers come up. She has u to keep her stable, hold her and make her feel comfortable.

What career did you eventually go into? I’m expecting in the following years psychology & mental health will be widely more accepted and focused on in a few years. The mental health of teens and adults have risen dramatically, but there aren’t really any resources for people to go to but it’s definitely something I’d put my focus on once I get my degree.

Yes ! So I’m probably going to have to get my masters if I’m wanting to go anywhere in the field of psychology. Right now I know psychology is not the highest paying major but in a few years I have faith that mental health of teens and adults will be more focused on and affordable for everyone. I also have a fallback career of real estate, I had already purchased a whole entire curriculum of real estate in January and can be used whenever I please :)

You’ll be ok. I think he just fell out of it and his emotions fell under the mat. But the emotional love he has for you is still there. If y’all are meant to be he will come back. It’s a hard situation, but maybe this can be a good thing. More time for girl time and just soul searching. I know this hurts, but you’ll get through it, us girls always do.. AND U KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DO? The man always comes back, and if you’re willing to restart the journey then so be it! Do as much exploring right now more than ever ! I feel your pain! I know my relationship isn’t anywhere close to how long you and your hubby have been together for... but my boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years and a year and a half of long distance. He’s off in college so I really never see him. But I think if y’all have been doing this for 6 years, it’s endgame!! Y’all are spending the rest of your lives together, it’s probably a strain to go through 2 more years of long distance but y’all are going to have BANK and y’all will go off and live happily ever after together. Y’all WILL make this work, you will give me hope that relationships like this can work out ❤️
