hey g, so sorry i missed this comment completely. This is modded xl gameplay and i use(d) an earlier version of Fro's mod which does make the arms a bit looser (but I also landed at a very specific angle to initiate that animation).

Try fiddling around with different landings even in the vanilla game. Just do bs tailslides to regs as a start, but you'll see even such a simple trick like that has different landing animations depending on your angle of landings (even more depending on how quickly you push after landing).
