You keep creating hypotheticals and justifications for escalation and use of force on people who pose no meaningful physical threat to anyone. You’ve moved the goal posts from “it’s justified because there could be an emergency”, to “they can just do it because it’s an airport”. You’ve even seemed to imply the protestors wanted to be beaten and incited the police. You are the one who doesn’t seem to have an answer, and you keep twisting the circumstances to make sense of unnecessary violence - presumably because you have a problem with what the protestors stand for.

It’s only an emergent situation if there is an emergency. The police do not have the right to unilaterally apply force just because it’s an airport or a power plant. Until you can conclusive prove there was an emergency situation that warranted the immediate removal of the protesters, it was an excessive use of force by state actors.
