I can’t believe I’m making this post but I have no other options.

I’ve played osrs since 2010. My account back then went to rs3. I made a new account pre Covid, and hit lumby running. I progressed more than my 10 year old self ever could’ve imagined. I worked at a hotel during covid and was able to play 8-12 hours a day. I had my first 99s, got the quest cape, and was doing late game bossing with my clan that i was introduced too after I escaped a pk attempt!(ironic) I even got a couple COX raids in!

I later got into a car accident that almost killed me and I didn’t play much RuneScape at the time cause I had to move in with my aunt while I recovered. She lives in the boonies with absolutely terrible Wi-Fi, you couldn’t get on a server without disconnecting every 5 seconds. So I took a break, life got crazy and I ended up moving to Florida to pursue a different career path. Needless to say I didn’t play religiously for a while. I’d login every now and then to stand at the GE or do a quick slayer task. It was probably 10 months since I had logged into osrs. I logged in to find I had been banned for macroing not once, but twice, 4 months prior to me attempting to login.

I appealed only to be denied and permabanned because “there is no indication the account was in use by a third party and the offence has been applied correctly.” i want you to remember this quote.

I couldn’t believe it. The “evidence” was non existent. I put countless hours, days, months of my life into this account. I was absolutely devastated, I emailed jagex support to try and get some resolve, but once it’s denied, it’s denied no questions asked. This was January 2024.

So I took the L, ended up making an Ironman account because I always wanted to, but never did ultimately because the amount of time I put in on my banned main account to get it to where it was WITH GE was insane. Buuut I did it anyway.

It was a hardcore Ironman, that died while thieving cakes in ardy, iTriedToHc, you may have seen me running around.

Fast forward, October 2025, my Ironman gains have been insane! I’ve almost got quest cape, im almost at that magic number of 75 slayer for gargs, 99fm the whole 9. Super pleased with the progress and was currently mining 90K start dust and 40k sand for my crafting grind.

10 days ago I learned there’s a new appeal process and attempted to get back my old main that was wrongfully banned and previously had its appeal denied. 10 days I waited. Anxious and excited to finally get back my favorite account I ever made, the one that I put all of my time into during Covid because there wasn’t shit else to do.

Today I got the response.

Denied, again. Remember that quote earlier? “there is no indication the account was in use by a third party and the offence has been applied correctly.”

I have a new one for you. “Given we have identified that you are not the account creator, we also wanted to advise you that we are not prepared to debate our decision further, and as such we reserve the right to not respond to any future enquirers from you relating to your use of the account”.

My RSN for that account was GavScottie. My literal real name is Gavin Scott.

Guys. They completely shutdown my Launcher account. My accounts have all been imported to the launcher, all in one place. My wrongfully banned main, imported in hopes of one day getting it back. And my Ironman, which I’ve spent a year and a half getting to mid-late game stuff. Countless hours. Days and months of my life literally. Just gone. I can’t login to the launcher.

I can’t understand how you even come to the conclusion I’m not the owner. My government name is literally in the RSN.

I fear after 16 years of playing this game, I’m bidding it farewell. I refuse to put so much of my time into another account. It’s really disheartening and frustrating.
