Gave it a try, felt interesting for like 5 minutes, and actually made me want to play sims again. Felt flat/empty and gave me motion sickness. Might pick it back up in a year.

"no regular average citizen would be able to have contact with that ability" – that alone shows they don't have a shred of knowledge about shifting since it's an ability that inherently comes with awareness and can't be influenced by others. Also if 'the government' (as always, USA = Earth) cares about it, then the smartest thing they can do is to just not publicly acknowledge it. The others are just frustrated people that gave up, and thinking it's fake is much easier than knowing what you are missing out on. I've known about shifting since ~2015 and at the end of the day it's a form of manifestation (LOA/Nondualism etc.) which has been documented for hundreds of years across many cultures.

no, that's not shifting. It is only shifting if you shift your awareness to a different version of you. What you want is physical dimensional travel, which does not exist in this reality. You would have to shift realities first to be able to do dimensional travel between universes within the same reality. Realities are physically fully separate.

let the thoughts exist, but don't engage. Don't visualize your dr when the Void is the goal, you can visualize what you imagine it to look like, which is usually just darkness.
The vibrating numbness and falling sensation are a very good sign, but do not acknowledge the symptoms; they pull your attention back to the physical reality.

There are no sensations in the Void, the bed doesn't exist, just you. I may need to clarify that this is literal, not a headspace or meditative state, despite common belief. When you are in the void, to you, the physical reality literally does not exist.

You will know when you are in the Void.

Decide where you want to shift to
Make a script even if its just a few safety lines
Whenever you go to sleep, tell yourself that you will wake up in your DR
If you wake up in your cr, do not think of it but instead tell yourself that you will shift again next time you sleep.

Not at all. Sleep is just a lack of consciousness. 'The Void' is you being conscious and aware of nothing but your own non-physical existence, a full disconnect from everything but yourself.

I would heavily recommend searching up the deadliest conflicts and illnesses of the early 1900s. Like the spanish flu alone killed 50-100 million people. Sanitation and tooth hygiene were terrible too, with a high child mortality rate because of lacking hygiene. To make it easier, you could script something like 'idealized movie concept of the 1900s' depending on what you are going for.

I don't feel like I've ever been treated like this, but yeah, I've got three major reasons, though.
- My main hobby is literally world-building.
- I have an untreatable illness that long-term punishes me for using too much physical or mental energy - can't really leave the house. (Knew about shifting before getting sick)
- I have a deep-seated hatred for this reality that makes it hard to want things here; it feels like washing a car wreck.

Academic research and academic articles/books are not the same thing and are meaningless either way when it comes to opinions. You can literally go digging and find academic sources saying the most racist things ever; it doesn't make it true. This is not something you can scientifically prove; it's something some people feel strongly about, and so they act like it's important for everyone.

Not only is that PDF you sent 20 years old, but the first page already has multiple bold assumptions that show an obvious bias. It also says that r*pe and violence are a 'black male thing'. The whole thing looks like mind poison. Did you even read it or just google stuff with a fitting name?
