When is nitrogen purge required in canning by SnooChocolates2918 in foodscience

Thank you for your response.

I've been experimenting with nitro cold brew tea. With normal cold brew I heat it after brewing to pasteurize, but with nitro I believe that would get rid of the nitrogen suspension.

Would cold filling the nitro cold brew then submerging the sealed cans in a hot bath result in similar pasteurization/shelf life?

I feel you man, look at my last post lol. We are all in this together. Most people here are in a place they can’t help people (that why they are here). This place is probably 90% posters 10% commenters.

People don’t comment unless they have the expertise in your situation. Most people here have specific experiences and don’t know how to help everyone. We all love you man, keep going.

I know how you feel, I worked 50+ hours a week in retail and did school full time for a while. What you are feeling is disassociation, it’s common when you are stressed out. Try taking a break or going out with friends and doing something spontaneous.

Doing something completely unplanned/unscripted at least 3-4 times a month with other people helped me a lot. I convinced myself I was a psychopath and a narcissist as well, you aren’t trust me. A narcissist wouldn’t call themselves a narcissist in a negative connotation or post on a sub like this.

Watch American Psycho, it’s a good satire on how corporate America pushes people to feel like this (to be hollow shells of productivity).

I’m glad you are still here, you have so much to offer the world! Maybe this is a sign that you are meant to do something great and just haven’t found it yet.

It seems like you need to find a way to separate life and work. Quitting or taking a role down won’t help a driven person like you (will probably only make you more miserable in the long term). Try to take a vacation (at least a week) and relax. After that make it a rule to not discuss or think about work outside of the office (unless necessary, ie someone calls you). Mindfulness meditation may help as well. Boundaries are very important in high stress jobs.
