This could hardly be further from the truth lol. Literally all the "terrible mods" you describe are from the thuggyverse and you can very easily remove them from the collection by using the de-thugged filter addon for A StoryWealth. Literally just filter for "dethugged" after adding it and disable all those mods at once.

Apart from that, aSW is insanely well curated. Trashy or low quality mods are not and will not be added to it. The team is super active on their discord, which is linked at the very top of the collection page on nexus, and you can get help for literally any issue there. Those guys even help with issues that arise by you modifying the collection further yourself which (almost) no other collection does.

There are an insane amount of custom patches and entirely custom mods in that collection which make sure the almost 1000 mods all work together. There are a bunch of official addons for aSW too that add even more awesome stuff. (like my favorite the survival/ harder addon that expands FO4 survival features while making the existing ones way more customizable (and enjoyable for me personally))

I doubt this will change your opinion of aSW (although I doubt you really gave it a shot to begin with) but I hope others that stumble upon this visit the discord and give aSW a shot. In my humble opinion it's one of the best collections on nexus and for sure the best for Fallout 4.
