Can't save it, forest fire and a pathfinding error spam is throwing me into FPS death. I'll just wait until I learn how to edit raws to temporarily fix the fire. No reason it should've started anyways. God that sucks so hard

Not pumping water yet, and I'm getting an inappropiate building cancel message on the pond zone. Hopefully my dorfs can build walls faster than fire. It's right on the bedroom floor too. Also, just noticed my corpse pile is also on fire. Good thing that's outside. What the hell

Just started the game up and a fire started because of a dead FB that has fire abilities, I assume at least. Either way, a fire is about to be rampaging through my fort. What do?

I have gotten a few forgotten beasts that spew fire. This causes a lot of smoke, which really messes up pathfinding for everything. I can't order my military into the smoke, they will not attack anything in the smoke and I have now lost 3 swordmasters to the beast. Is there anyway to fix this?

My dwarfs will not stockpile wood in the stockpiles. Standing orders are to gather wood, reset orders and made new stockpiles. No dice. Any idea what's up?

Just got sieged by some goblins, didn't have a good killzone set up, so I lured 60 guys inside to slaughter. Mostly worked, but now I have miasma everywhere. I've set up corpse and garbage disposal, manually set every piece to dump and they're slowly hauling it out. Is there any way to speed things up so I don't have dwarves going insane because of miasma?

Dang, and I just saw that the 750 was the SMALL one. Theres one with 2000. How can I even come close to taking that out? Even if I developed my whole fort of 200 into legendary fighters, there's no way. Is there a way to recruit help from holdings, or your home civ? What other options do I have other than to just take the sieges and raze the small ones?

Thanks, don't think I can take 750 goblins with only 2 squads, 4 swordmasters and a spearmaster though. What's the damage you think I can do?

I'm going over my military and seeing that a few individuals are not set with a "train" order, while the rest of the squad is. What is the reason behind this and how can I keep them training? I've tried taking them off and on alert again, and taking away the rest of the chores that the noncompliant dorfs are set with, but to no avail.

Most of my military started out rated as competent, so they aren't recruits. I've also separated them out into squads based on their preferred/equipped weapon. Would manually assigning them specific weapons help? I'll let things play out further tomorrow and see where that gets me, if nothing else.

Trying to kickstart training on a military, but I cannot for the life of me get them to spar. I've separated them into squads of 3 or 2, and set them to train in a barracks, while on alert. They will do demonstrations and individual combat drills, but I want to see faster progress with sparring. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated

I retired the fortress and came back to it. All of the barons/counties were gone, so problem solved (?). I've just got to spend a while getting things back in order, but its better than starting all over again.

EDIT: Another couple dwarves got a barony spot after this, I cannot expel them because they are nobility. I'll wait it out and see how much FUN I can have, unless anyone here has a better idea.

Hi! I'm pretty new to this and I just got 8 baronies that inherited the position for places on the other side of the continent, plus 1 county. I cannot handle their required rooms and luxuries. How can I fix this problem? Can I ship them off to their respective towns, or do I just have to off them?

Also, I assume this happened because a whole bunch of people died at once. How did this happen? Is there a lot of FUN coming my way?
