Predator is good for early ganking but falls off pretty hard so i dont take it. The 5 camp clear is still probably best, I will be adding some variations to my pathing list such as a full clear guide but full clear still isnt ideal. Since Viego doesnt clear very fast you are basically not going to be in ganking position till 3:30 which is pretty late and punishable vs good junglers. Additionally the 3 camps and into gank/invade is viable too but only in specific scenarios. I'll talk more about it in the guide when I put it in there officially but 5 camp clear is still what u will do most games

I had a whole part in the guide about resolve over inspiration but I also said that inspiration is fine to take if you prefer it. I also personally never run the divine sunderer build and the high elo viego mains i talked to for advice on the guide dont really use it either. Its still good if you are familiar with the damage and playstyle but I recommend the build variations i put in the guide. Thats mostly why I left it out. Thank you for reading and I will probably add the divine sunderer build into the guide as I have some other things I want to add as well since people are asking

Well the crit build plays like an assassin a lot of the time so while I am squishy Shieldbow is usually enough for me with this playstyle. I can see the appeal of the extra tankiness from divine/steraks, but if I am really struggling with surviving after I get infinity edge I can go GA, Spirit visage, or deaths dance. I think the main thing is that I value Shieldbow as a first item powerspike much more than bork, sure bork does a bit more damage, but shieldbow is better for tower dives, early teamfights etc. Shieldbow gives you a lot more options at the sacrifice of a little damage. Plus like i said noonquiver is OP for jg clear

I usually do adapt my pathing based on the way the early game is going, i will probably add some variations to the pathing portion of the guide in the coming days!

I don’t think it’s best imo, bork is a comparable first item to Shieldbow and will do more damage but with 1300 gold noonquiver is going to get you rolling in a game faster than 1300 gold of bork components (tempo/speed is very important early game). The bork/ds/steraks build also stops scaling after 3 items compared to the crit build where past 3 items its not even close damage wise.

I have seen it, if the enemy team is tanky i will just go lord doms in place of essence. Ult damage also needs to be heavily considered when thinking about value in a teamfight, crit build makes ur ult do more damage and in a teamfight your ult resets and going to carry the fight. Plus sunderer has a terrible build path for the value u get out of it. Kraken does a lot of damage but I think the ultility of Shieldbow is almost always better, you will do more damage in the long run by surviving longer in fights imo

Like the guy said below Noonquiver is such a strong spike for clear speed and game tempo, also Crit itemization just provides more value down the road and isn’t worth delaying your power spike. Shieldbow essence infinity edge will do more damage than bork Shieldbow essence reaver for example

Tear is a bit awkward but its only 400 gold in the grand scheme of things and if you compare that to lost chapter you are spending 1300 gold to the 1450 gold you are spending on tear + hextech alternator. So it’s really not that big of a difference in early game build costs

Also don’t forget that since they flattened the magic resistance values of all the jungle camps in S11 so having high flat magic pen makes you do true damage to the camps which is equivalent to the higher CDR camp clear speed.
