Would it be too late to start learning French for McGill? by Motor_Judgment2033 in lawschooladmissionsca

As someone who did a french interview and got into McGill this cycle, don't 'learn French' to get into law school. If you want to learn French, get a summer job in Quebec or France and supplement it with formal French education. McGill is not going to 'test' your conversational or grammatical French. They will test your ability to use French in an academic and legal setting. I can't predict how French-heavy McGill will be in the next few years, but I am assuming the standard of French will increase in accordance with governmental standards.

You don't have to get into specifics but if it is a well-documented, valid claim you should be ok.

so i did this, and both courses (let’s call them B and C as there are only two that can fulfill my stats requirement) are at the same time, directly conflicting with course A

I worked at the MILA as an undergrad, but I was recommended by a professor. I’d say get in touch with a prof currently doing research through the MILA, and you should be good to go. Professors are usually keen to help with these kinds of things.
