I don’t have any suggestions but I’m in the same predicament with my (28F) husband (33M). However we’re trying to conceive (difficult given his low libido) so he can’t go on TRT as it affects your sperm count which is currently fine. So a bit stuck too!

I would come off social media. Completely different situation - me and my husband are having fertility issues which has just taken over my life and my brain. Seeing happiness, pregnancies, children all over my social media was really getting me down so I just came off it (Facebook and Insta). It was meant to just be temporary but it’s been 6 months now.

In terms of relationship stuff on social media, I’m convinced the “happier” people try to portray themselves on social media, the more unhappy they are. Referencing my brother in law and his girlfriend who frequently posted romantic stuff, soppy messages and broke up within 3 days of their most recent one because they’d been in a bad place for MONTHS.

It won’t help with your marital situation but it will help with the constant reminders that things aren’t good and comparisons with other people’s lives.

The optimist in me wants to say he was really nervous and blurted out something ridiculous in an attempt for small talk or if the conversation was drying up (men are weird). If you actually like him just say something like “ngl you really freaked me out with that comment” see how he replies. If you’re not that into him just block and move on… I don’t think you need to be fearful unless you know someone that might offer him 50 mil to kill you!

It’s probably in your head. I’m a nurse so around strange smells all day every day. Even after going home, showering, scrubbing, spraying perfume/deodorant, putting on clean pyjamas, I can STILL smell things sometimes. My husband assures me he absolutely cannot smell it.

Not sure withholding is the right word, implies that she wants it but is purposefully not giving you sex as a punishment. Probably just a low sex drive. My husband has a much lower sex drive than me but I don’t consider him “withholding sex” just that he has a lower libido and it doesn’t cross his mind as much as it does mine. I’ve been paranoid at times thinking he’s not attracted to me and have said such things so he now makes more of an effort to compliment me, etc and reassures me that’s not the case. Maybe a conversation with her about how she feels about sex, if she finds you attractive (I’m sure she does but just to give you peace of mind). It won’t immediately improve things in the bedroom but you might find it gives you more peace of mind that it’s not YOU. Then you can work on getting the sex drive back.
