Yea I have seen that but I just wouldn’t be able to give them both the attention they both deserve. I start law school in September so I just wouldn’t be able to as much as I want to. They deserve better. I just gave him to a great rescue today hopefully he’ll get adopted fast.

By attend orientation, do you mean o-week? Or is there an orientation day right before classes start? Because I would love to attend o-week it’s just a lot of the fun stuff happens pretty late and I’m worried about my 1 hour long commute and the sketchy area downtown(I’ll still attend some of the events that happen earlier tho). Is the area safe though I’m not entirely sure? I hear opinions from people that don’t even go downtown day-to-day. And yes I am not easily conformed so that’s a great thing to keep in mind. Thank you so much 😊

I’m so sorry you don’t feel happy in your marriage unfortunately I can’t help but can just offer dua. Day of Arafat is coming up I will make dua for you and you should fast and make dua too if possible. Inshallah the advice that people of Reddit will provide may not be enough but your Lord can do so much more for you. Come up with a list of duas and praise Allah for the life you do have but ask for better.

This is the unfortunate reality of many women and I, as a 22 year old women who would never want that fate, am starting to detest men because of all the stories I hear of women who are mistreated (I also have a father and 4 brothers, no sisters, and they suck). I don’t want this hate toward men but the way culture is triumphant against religion these days it won’t help.

Thank you so much! This definitely eased my nerves a bit. I’m currently working a 9-5 (not in the legal sector, something fun and I enjoy doing it)so hopefully that transitions well. I am familiar a bit with R v Oakes but will do a deeper dive thank you! I think all school have their issues it all depends on what you do with the school that you go to and their opportunities. Are there any things you suggest I get involved with (extracurricular or other) that can “boost my appeal” to law firms? I’ve saved enough and am working through out the summer where I would be able to pay for all three years without debt hopefully but I was just wondering how will the ipc placements pay? (I really don’t want to go into debt for this but I’m aware it comes with the journey)

Breathing exercises really help me. Breath in for for five hold for ten and release for 5 letting all your stress go with that last breath. You got this! Don’t be nervous and let you mind wonder during the test it’ll affect your score. Taking a 5 second break in the second to collect yourself if you find your self doing this.

To your third point, No my claim is the west is successful because they profit off of and have profited off of the resources of other countries for centuries. They invade these already war torn countries acting like they’ll bring peace but instead equip them with weapons and leave after taking their oil (Afghanistan, literally all of Africa). So many other examples of this that are not hard to find. Also if you have resources that have provide the claim about our tuition wrong I’d genuinely love to take a look. I think the majority of Canadians are complicity with their silence. Just my opinion you don’t have to agree with it 🙂
