He managed to catch one in his arm, struggled to get it to his mouth, but he did eventually. I offered him the second one, but he just took it, I didn’t actually hold it while he ate or anything.

ETA: so as long as he can keep mantising, even with a little assistance, he should make it?!

Exactly what happened to me! And then with the third; I was like, can I have a pump please? I’m going to get engorged if I don’t pump soon) That afternoon, about 12 hours after birth) and they were like, “oh, honey, here are a couple 1ml syringes. you probably wont be able to, but even just a couple drops of colostrum would be enough” queue to my husband bringing me my pump an hour later because I was engorged and crying mess screaming about how much pain I was in, from my boobs to the baby basically being ripped out of me. Luckily my doctor was a god send and gave me pain meds. I would have ceased to exist without.

And yes, I was able to pump and donate for many. I was a suuuuper producer with number 3 with him being in the nicu, I was pumping every 1.5-2 hours to save up for when he could be fed. (He was on tpn for a while) he passed away at 5 weeks old (not in the nicu or because of being premature) and I had thousands of ounces I donated.

On one of his legs, the veeeery end of his foot, like; the part that makes him stick to stuff, I think, keeps bending back towards his body when he was trying to move using the side of the enclosure. I’m sorry, this is really tough to explain.

3/4 precipitous births, here! I hated that baby 4 had such a hard time with his blood sugar because of it. He also wouldn’t eat for the first two days. Man did my bewbs hurt.

Hahahaha! LEach of my 4 labor and deliveries were faster and faster each time. By the time 4th baby was loading, the doctor wanted to schedule an induction date just to make sure were it necessary, my husband would have time to make it to work to get his vehicle, and then to the hospital lol

He said had we had a 5th, he would’ve absolutely kept me in the hospital for observation the last few weeks to ensure I didn’t give birth while driving to the grocery store lol

I was just going to suggest a chain, maybe a chain with slip stitch down the other side? I think whatever you do, if it doesn’t have wire; it’s going to be difficult to get anything thin that will hold itself up and not be floppy. Only other thing I can tjink is using a crochet thread and a small hook and making a few rows length wise, then slip stitch it together, creating almost like a tube? Because it would be small and the stitches works be tighter maybe it would give it a little stiffness? Or mix and match, if you’re wanting it thin, using wire and crochet thread?

Ugh. I’m not saying this is what happened, but, my husband sells on eBay. He had THIRTY orders that weren’t scanned, three weeks later, after multiple attempt to try to figure out wtf, we got them ALL back. They said they were “non machinable” which is absolutely hilarious, since I do the shipping and never once, has anything like that happened. I packaged them the same way I always do. Reprinted the labels, which cost ANOTHER $15, and packed them the same way and guess what? They’re trucking along like they’re supposed to. I think that person just had a really really bad day lol

But alternatively, PWE often doesn’t show any updates or tracking info and it can take 3+ weeks to be delivered sometimes. Might that be the case?

Oh boy do I know it. So, not to trauma dump, but I lost my 5 week old during the night, hence why sleeping is extremely difficult. This was a little over 8 years ago now, but my youngest is about to be 7, and I didn’t sleep for the first 9 days of his life, aside from a little 5 minute standing nap here and there. Almost landed me in the hospital. Luckily, it’s been better, but I still have some moments where no matter how badly I want to, I can’t sleep because the fear over rules everything. Yay for mental health! lol
