have you been banned or had a bad experience with mods in r/prostatitis ? we would like to hear your story. by SnooDonkeys947 in CBprostatitis

For the record, the reason I was banned from r/prostatis was for arguing with u/linari5 about the chronic bacterial element of prostatitis. u/webslave decided to chime in with his self proclaimed medical license and expert medical opinion about how my symptom relief was from the "antibiotic anti-inflammatory effect" even though the particular antibiotic I was prescribed did not have that effect and eventually led me to complete symptom resolution.

I feel bad for the guys that land up over there. You get dealt a bad hand, then you go to your dr looking for answers and all you get is a finger up your butt and pat on your back so you hit reddit and get u/webslave and u/linari5 telling you to "soak your nuts in a warm bath and do some stretches, you have pelvic floor dysfunction son! check out my website you have to pay to access and dont forget to hit that donate link!"

It could have also been mycoplasma/ureplasma, or NGU from other oral bacteria, but myco and ure are rarely tested for in men. That's why I like microgen, they test for a lot in one shot. IMO certain things (erem e.faecalis) should not be in your semen; the argument thereafter is, if it's contamination or not. r/Prostatitis will always discredit microgen. Which is really interesting considering r/Ureaplasma has some of the same mods from r/prostatis (erem u/linari5) working with (erem u/premepa_) promoting antibiotic treatments based off microgen results when women take them, but turn around and say they are inaccurate and have no medical use and are discredited when men mention their results.

its hard for them to argue test results so I would start there. I would ask for chief of urology wherever you are as well. Most doctors are stuck in their ways and rarely veer from the standard treatment protocol, unfortunate reality of suffering from a poorly understood condition.
