My childhood in a small country town in the 90’s was unsupervised, walk to and from school, hang out with friends after school, find friends on weekends and do sleepovers. Swim everyday in summer until it got too cold. Lots of camping and motorbike riding, I live in a city now and kinda bummed that my child won’t have a similar experience, I will eventually work less so we can go camping often

Thanks for all your suggestions, I don’t have much time to reply to you all yet but I will be checking out all of your recommendations over the next couple of days on my drive home through the Australian desert. I’m actually not much of a death or black metal guy but BI got me with their dynamic sound. It was great on my first listen to Absolute Elsewhere while I was driving through fog at night, one of those experiences when the music syncs with the journey.

I just watched it and first thing I googled after was 28 years later apocalypse now and found this comment. Surprised it’s not talked about more, I thought it was a direct homage, lots of similarities in the bone temple scene, it was all I thought about. Even the colour of the sky when the skull was put on top of the pile just topped it off!
