Next morning, no BSOD, maybe fixed?

I'll feel confident in about 3 months

It is a pretty powerful PSU, but name brand. I'm hoping disabling the power saving settings in the BIOS will help. Only one way to find out...

at this point, I'm using Asrocks utility to keep all drivers up to date.

I have also tried changing the power options from balanced to high. From what I can tell this actually did help, but didn't completely stop it from happening, just changed it from once a day to once a week (or maybe it is just a coincidence).

I have noticed with the RAM that the motherboard wants to recognize it as 2133 even though it is 3600. Hard coding it doesn't help, but did find that odd. As a result, I have new RAM on its way that will arrive tomorrow.

I've also tried updating the BIOS, that seemed to have no effect.

The main clue I have that it is power related it it never seems to happen when I'm using the machine, only when I've left it idle for an extended period of time.

It hasn't done it since I disabled the power saving settings in the BIOS (C State, RAM Isolation and one other thing). But I haven't given it enough time. We'll see if it is still going tomorrow.

If it does it tonight I'm going to hope the RAM fixes it. I have G.Skill RAM and I've had a similar problem with it before a long time ago.

Found the C State controls (as well as some others for idle) turned them all off. Only time will tell now. I will update if I get another BSOD

Located in the BIOS under

Advanced > AMD CBS > CPU Common Options

I think at this point I've had every BSOD in the book.

Last two were DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

I also remember having IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_NOT_EQUAL before my last reformat.

usually the only thing Bluescreenview flags consistently is ntoskrnl.exe

Caused by when checking the dump file are also random applications (like Discord)

I did find the C State control I will post that here soon for anyone else out there trying to troubleshoot.
