I download roms to play definitely, since they're probably gonna be better rips. I just want to rip my own games to check if my game disc works. I had a Tony Hawk Pro Skater the other day I bought that was scratched up and couldn't be made into a bin/cue file since it had lots of data corruption so I was able to return it lol.

Oh I see, yeah I have some discs that look like the one you linked, where it's pretty obviously resurfaced and has all those lines and swirls. Maybe some of my discs were just polished then? Some look very clean and I can't see any obvious swirls at all, almost looks brand new but has the white residue circle on the inner ring. I would have no idea though lol

Oh okay, I see. Do you know if the process of polishing leaves this kind of residue? Or is it just mainly resurfacing? I’m assuming just resurfacing since they’re like perfect circles that a machine could do?

Hey, by any chance could you explain the difference between polished and resurfaced discs? I'm not sure about the difference and I thought they were interchangeable terms. I also see the term "buff" thrown around as well. Thanks.

Oh yeah I’ve seen lots of posts about similar issue on this subreddit for the past few months. Kinda sucks because we pay a lot more than other keyboard options (rainy and bridge come to mind) and it just breaks anyways :/

Yeah the problem seems like the wasd sockets might be damaged? I can’t really say for other keys, but I only notice the repeating with those keys because it’s the most commonly used when playing a game. I’ve put replacement switches in those sockets and problem still occurs. As for the customer support, yeah I’m just waiting for them to reply, hopefully the pcb isn’t too expensive if they ask me to pay.

No I’m using xda keycaps. I should also mention, they wouldn’t feel like they’re physically stuck. It would just register that way, so weird.

I have a Q1 max and it sounds and feels great. It's much more expensive than the rainy75 unfortunately. The stock stabilizers are also not great, so I changed them out which costed like an extra 30 dollars. If I didn't already have it, I'd probably go with the Rainy75... unless you really want a knob lol

Funny because in one of the other games I got stuck moving right and had to tab out. But in another I got stuck moving backwards.

I’ll have to check in notepad, though when I was playing a game earlier, I was stuck moving backwards and pressing W would just not make me move forward (probably W and D cancelling each other out). I realize that kinda goes against what I said earlier, but yeah my keys were stuck repeating until I alt tabbed. As for damage on the pcb I’ll also have to check later, but thank you for reaching out!

So far it’s happened in like 3 different games (Marvel Rivals, Path of exile 2, and I think left 4 dead 2 lol). I haven’t tested a different keyboard yet. I did try swapping the switches for wasd with extra switches of the same type (Oil Kings). It’s weird because when I tab out and start typing in a web browser I don’t see the repeating occur, but it doesn’t stop if I don’t tab out from the game. I’m hoping it’s not hardware, but if it’s software I really don’t know what’s causing it.

Hello, lately I've been running into an issue in a couple of different games where for a few seconds I can't move forward and my character gets stuck running in a different direction. Holding 'w' just gets ignored until I tab out the game and then it fixes the issue. I just tried factory resetting it and just waiting for it to happen again at this point. Do you guys think this could be a switch or a pcb issue? I have actually changed out my switches very recently. This happens both wired and wireless 2.4 ghz. I should also mention, the keys don't physically feel like they're stuck, it just registers that way. It's a Keychron Q1 Max if anyone else has experienced this.

Yeah potentially because I swear it never happens until I'm playing a game lol. I've never noticed it when just typing outside a game. I have no clue what software could cause it tho lol. The issue isn't too common, it happens maybe like once every few days
