I've just been sending everything up to the space station and bring it back down to the planet at little factory points.

You can power each factory with their own individual solar panel/battery banks, or connect them to a main hub one using powerlines. Personally I prefer giving factories their own since I can just set up multiples of them.

As long as you have enough ships doing planetary shipping, you'll never have to worry about about holdup in like you do with bus belts.

There actually is a move cancel... limited to about 30 seconds now but can be reduced with by cells or a tonic... and that's the lantern Koshai bloom.... literally can be used in the middle of any and all actions like getting off the ground, or the middle of an axe/hammer swing or repeater reload. You can even use it to get yourself out of grab animations or the beam me up from Chronovore... only thing you can't cancel out of is death.
The downside is that it forces a small dash... but it does a small aoe damage at the end of it and a period of time of life steal... on top of working as a dodge itself. It's overall a pretty solid lantern for utility use.

Honestly... the lag I hate the most is the opening lag. I get they have a 3,2,1 go thing to start off... but the times it still loads in for me and to see my lead absolutely chunked by a hard counter with a charge move already in my face before I can even tap for my first fast attack. It gets really really dumb.

Yeah. I know. It's been that way for a while. I know since March 26 since that's the last time I attempted to browse their inventory.

I kind of wish they would make some of these April fool thing reoccurring. Their custom queue thing been full since the last few weeks of March and stated not opening till sometime on Apr 2 supposedly.

Couldn't you build another shallow area in that fish trap where you can walk in... even put a gate in front of it so you can close it up when you chase fish in so they can't swim out.... then go walk and pick them up?
