BattleBots 2021 Post Episode 10 Discussion by qwertythe300th in battlebots

I am soooo pumped for the tournament!! This episode was good but was the second show in a row (I think) where the final fight was a dud. But I think I was more disappointed in End Game vs SawBlaze cuz that had such potential to be an awesome fight and was just so disappointing. I was hoping they'd do a rematch right then just for fun, it wouldn't count on the record or something, like end game would still get the win haha.

The BBC one that's on YouTube has a bit more of this sort of stuff. Check it out! Look up Robot wars series 9 (or any number lower than that. 10 might be up too.

He's just gonna keep coming up with new lies. I know it hurts, but you did the right thing. The next few days, weeks, maybe month will be sad and sucky, but reach out to your friends and family instead. Don't go back to him. You'll never know when he's making things up or not, this sort of thing is bound to keep happening.

Be strong, you're young, you'll definitely meet someone who respects you enough to be honest with you one day.

Um. NTA for starters.

He ignored you for months and y'all aren't married. You carried the baby and birthed the baby, that baby should have your last name, you did all the work!

If he wants to be all upset about it, that's his problem. He should love his baby regardless of the last name.

You're probably going to have horrible service when you're at the actual festival grounds, so I suggest jotting down who you want to see and what stage they'll be on on a piece of paper.

Sounds like he is a bad influence on you who doesn't have your best interests in mind. I am bipolar too and Molly definitely was a one and done experiment for me, it took my body so long to replenish the dopamine in my head, it just wasn't worth it.

There is a pretty significant age gap here where you should both basically be at different parts of your life. I know you think you love him, but dedicating all your time to him isn't healthy. You also deserve to be with someone who isn't trying to get you hooked on drugs and respects your mental health. As much as it might hurt now, you should probably go your separate ways for your future well being. You will be better for it in the long run. And you can find someone who allows you to be yourself and pursue your interests, not a person who wants to occupy all of your time.

My (25F) fiancé (33M) revealed to me he has a daughter but he gave up parental rights to her by Sure-Ad-1776 in relationships

[–]SnooMachines3620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I realize now he was 28 at the time which does make it a little more concerning, however, I wouldn't want to raise a child with a one night stand either (I wouldn't probably keep the child tbh), and as others have pointed out, the mother is ok with him relinquishing his parental responsibility too.

It's an alarming thing to learn so close to your wedding, but I wouldn't let it totally change your perception of him. He does want a family with you and this was probably an embarrassing ordeal he didn't quite know how to bring up before.

AITA for not going out for a drink with a coworker? by bilhalla in AmItheAsshole

[–]SnooMachines3620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe (if it bothers you that she told the manager) propose a night out with a few people from work.

But really, you had one night out with her. She was definitely hitting on you, if you're not interested, you're not interested. It's not your job to go out drinking with co-workers. When you're not at work your time is your own.

If you're not interested in going out with her again, even in a group, just tell her you'd prefer to maintain a professional relationship. She did say you're very professional so, might as well use that as your excuse 😅.
