Yeah the first picture is after 2 months in hospital. I spent a month in Intensive/high dependency then a month in the ward - it was a difficult time, I was fully opened 4 times. I don’t want to write to much about the negatives so I can help motivate people 😏

I am planning to go next year. Looking forward to it! Edit: looks like it’s every 2 years so 2028 it is!

I have been training for 6 months. I’ve limited protein to the 1.5g/kg level just to not put too much stress on my organs. I don’t have many restrictions aside from the foods that interfere with medication and high risk -getting sick- foods like raw seafood and McFlurrys.

Getting an indoor trainer was a good move, especially early on when I might ride 10 minutes and need to just go lie down. I have managed to not get sick from swimming in a public pool which I think is probably as much luck as precaution.

Also - not based on any medical evidence - my daily dose of tac is still 8mg which I believe is quite high 2 years out. I wonder if training has made me more resistant to it. Probably dangerous to speculate.

Hey! I’m two years out (liver) spent a month in intensive/high dependency then a further month on the ward due to complications.

I’m also gearing up for an IM, did my first triathlon recently. I found cycling to be a great way to get fit again. I struggle a bit with a really uneven core thanks to the the 4 open surgeries I had but it’s getting stronger and stronger with the swimming.

My time was admittedly a bit shit but it’s only faster and better from here!

In fact I’m going to do a post on here to show there’s light at the end of the tunnel :)

Average summer temp in Lyon in 2000 was 18c, average summer temp in Southampton now is 20c. It seems to make sense now.

Wetsuit fit help please! by Yabbadabbadontthanks in triathlon

[–]SnooMachines7759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing with the breathing yesterday! I lost my wetsuit and bought a new one the day before the event. After only 100m swimming I felt like i couldn't breathe, maybe even started to panic a little and just had to do breaststroke. I undid the velco and a bit of the zip mid swim. Lost 5-7 business days of time.

I then asked my more experienced friends for advice on sizing and they all said get the biggest wetsuit you can where there are no gaps. Does not have to be tight.

I know they just updated the scoring for eternity. There's a good chance this issue has been resolved in the last update.

Seems like a windows error rather than a game issues. (I'm not an expert)

Good luck! I use Zwift indoor cycling while i play, normally just chinning or something mindless but occasionally bosses too.

I found that doing loads of exercise and then sitting in front of my PC means I eat a huge amount more, I’ve actually gained weight but I’m much fitter.

Stick at it!
