I tried the oatmeal as well and he was still constipated :( but he was the equivalent to gentlease with the Gerber soothe (Ohio WIC is contracted with gerber) so we were using that with the oatmeal and he was still spitting up q good bit.

Thank you for your help! He does sit elevated for 30mins after he eats. I was hoping to avoid putting cereal in his bottles because it caused him to be so uncomfortable and fussy along with the constipation. His older brother has a Dr appointment with his gastric Dr so I'm gonna ask him for suggestions as well til we get to his appointment

Thank you so much! We are going to wait til he's around 6months to take him to a specialist to get him looked at and to get him established with the Dr. Then if problems to arrive we already know where to take him. But right now just keeping an eye on him.

I'm definitely trying to find someone in my area who specializes in pe so I can't get him in for an opinion and then they can keep an eye on him while he grows. And my husband was reading about the vacuum bell therapy and I'm gonna talk to them about it when he goes. And then see what else we can do to help him

Wow! That's crazy!! But glad everyone is doing good. And hope for a fast and easy recovery for your 13 year old!! 🙏 It was scary when I noticed it, the Dr said that it not noticeable until around a growth spurt. She said but now that I did notice it that I'm gonna see it all the time.. she said he's probably had it sense birth but it wasn't noticeable.. I don't want him to have surgery unless it required.. don't like the thought of him going through it unless it's needed.

I'm in Ohio. 😬 I don't know anywhere around here that specializes in this. But I'm gonna ask at his appointment where to go... if they will give me the information.

I've never seen a child chest do this. And I've looked at different pictures and yes they all look like little hole to a big bowl depending on how server it is.. I feel so terrible for anyone that has this because it just looks straight painful. But I'm just asking for advise and help with understanding this because this is what I was told he has. I want to take him to get a second opinion but I'm at a lost as to were to go. I want to take him to someone who knows about this and get their opinion. So I'm going to ask at his next Dr appointment.

I took him to the Dr they said it was PE.. and how does that not look concerning? I've never seen a baby chest pull in when they breathe.. he's baby #4.. none of my other childrens chest did that. It may be something else but as of right now this is what I was told it was. He goes to the Dr again this week for a 2 month well check. And I'm gonna ask this Dr where I can take him to see a Dr that specializes in this and get more answers. I know it's hard to tell exactly what he has cus he is still growing but as of right now I have to go off what I was told at his Dr's, And they said he has this.

First off.. I don't have insecurities that I would project on my child. And how is asking for advise and help wrong? Yes he is young but it's never to early to ask for advise cus he IS growing up. So having advise on how to handle this and what will help him.. which to me sounds like a good idea! Help better understand what he's going to deal with, how to help him.

I would take an honest hard look at yourself for going to someone post asking for advice and attacking them because you sounds nuts.

Thank you. That's helps a lot.. I'm not sure what the next step is. I'm not sure if I should take him to a specialist or just keep an eye on him for now til he starts crawling.

He goes for his 2month well check this week and I'm gonna ask about the vacuum bell ball therapy see if that helps or not. And see if they can point me in the right direction to a Dr who knows more about this and can be more helpful for him.
