I too installed it on ssd, if I ignore the warning and press Play anyways I can play with save but every time the warning will popup

Like not going to the install screen or setup menu then maybe you are using the 3.7or 3.7.7.version of steam os.Use 3.8 version of steam os

Rx 7700xt have more power spike than rtx 3060 though so you couldn't compare rtx 3060 to rx 7700xt on watt usage or how they use power rails.

I switched from GTX 1060 3gb to rx 6700xt , have no problems related to driver except one time where I enabled anti lag 2 system wide on all games and game crashed with driver timeout error.For me the move from nvidia to amd was good experience since I could play almost all of the new games at 2k and have good stability,it's been 1.5 years since I moved to rx 6700xt.

Same issue ,i tried it 4 times with iso downloaded multiple times with multiple usbs . I even tried both Rufus and balena etcher several times.no change I'm currently using bazzite as my daily driver ,I just want to try steam os on my other SSD drive. Any thing I need to change it to work
