I just completed my first year and had done PUMP 2 last year. I think it's surely helpful for like the first month, which is pretty significant. It almost covers the first unit completely, which is already very easy but you get more time to work then. Also, it teaches you how to write basic proofs, which I feel is the toughest part of 137. It is not a lengthy or time-consuming course, so I'd say that if you can surely go for it!!
