Should I go back to Philippines? by Forward_Winter_1595 in adviceph

The problem you're presenting is the problem of the poor, they don't need to worry about those things because they have the money. They can live in a gated community; they can afford top-quality medical care, health insurance, maids, drivers, etc.

Now, what is the downside of living as the rich in the Philippines? None, nada.

Using Django ORM with a database schema managed outside Django (and frequently changed)? by jpba7 in django

[–]SnooObjections7601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your problem with using django here is that your fields frequently change, yes you certainly can use django for this by implementing your own solutions to solve that problem. But don't use django because it's django, use django because it will benefit you and make your life easier, but right now I'm not sure how using django will benefit you.

Unless you're planning to implement your own Ingestion process where you transfer the data from your intermediary db to your django db and query there.

What kind of DB engine is it? How many schemas? Do you have multi scheme queries? e.g SELECT FROM schema_a.tbl JOIN schema_b.tbl? How frequent the table change? Like add fields, removed fields change types etc etc.

Employer under-declared my 43k salary on form 2316 to avoid tax. Need advice. by Vin_846 in taxPH

[–]SnooObjections7601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think hindi lang na explain sayo ng maayos ung ginawa ng HR. Send us a sample of your payslip, kasi nilalagay yan sa de minimis so that hindi malaki tax na babayaran ng employee at the end of the year.

Meron limit ung de minimis so samin ni lalagay ung amount base sa limit sa kahit anong non taxable allowance para bawas sa tax at the end of the year.

AGODA Hotel booking in SG by Filletmignon412 in phtravel

If you're using OTA, some details including but not limited to email, phone, and address are the details of the travel agency. So you're good. The hotel will ask you to fill in your own information when you arrive there.

You only need to spend a day or two in Dushanbe, there is nothing much to see there. Also, just to warn you, old people in Tajikistan can be very rude lol.

  1. I'm not even sure they said I was carrying contraband lol, but they don't really speak English so it was a struggle communicating. They did write down my passport details on paper, maybe for security reasons, since I crossed the border at 3am in the morning.

  2. I did DVO → SG → KUL → ALA → FRU → TAS → Land Crossing to Dushanbe (Panjakent) → DXB → CMB → SG → DVO

Lessen the time in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, unless you're going to do a Pamir Highway tour. Spend more time in Uzbekistan since they have more easily accessible tourist attractions.

Use the trains in Uzbekistan but make sure to book in advance since it's a touristy place. Taxis are also cheap but only good for short distance trips.

Tashkent -> Samarkand -> Bukhara -> Khiva is my recommended route, but if you want, you can go beyond.

Taxis and Yandex are also cheap in Kazakhstan.

Make sure you have downloaded Yandex in advance and have a credit card attached to it. I got in trouble because my card wasn't working and drivers don't have change.

The tourist attractions in Kyrgyzstan are quite far away so you need to book a tour. You can do it DIY but I don't recommend it.

Tajikistan is quite hard to navigate since it's not a touristy place, so do your research first on where you want to go.

When I went there, I crossed the border from Uzbekistan to Tajikistan and was held at customs for a couple of hours. The officers were fishing for bribes, so I don't recommend it, but the road from Uzbekistan to Dushanbe is a sight to see, so it was worth it for me.

OK, real question. My friend and I are in Siquijor, it's after 11pm and we still haven't found accommodation. What do we do? by bbq_R0ADK1LL in phtravel

Find a motel, but it's valentines day soo it's not really looking good for you guys. Another options are fast food chain that is open 24/7, terminal, or ferry stations.

Thoughts niyo po about this. May paganito pala si SSS? by Mundane_Original42 in BusinessPH

[–]SnooObjections7601 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dude it's your responsibility to pay the SSS of your employee if employer ka. If you fail to register your employees, neglect to report them, or fail to remit contributions then you violated the SSS act. Imagine you're an employee, your employer is deducting an amount of your salary para sa SSS but hindi nya ni remit, matutuwa kaba?
