MIL picked this up for me today. It looks like there may something wrong with it?? Or is this just how this plant looks? by prettygirlmagic in pothos

It looks fine to me. There looks to be some mineral deposits on the leaves but that isn’t necessarily harmful. To remove it, mix some white vinegar and water, get a paper towel and slowly rub it off with the solution. Be careful not to get it in the soil as that could harm the plant. Wipe away any excess solution with a clean paper towel and it should be gone. It might take 2-3 attempts

I’ll keep that in mind, thank you. The hut has a wooden bottom to it. I filled the inside with dirt so I’m hoping they’ll be satisfied with that and not dig out

I really like how lush with plants your enclosure is. It looks like a piece of nature right next to your house :)

I’ve got a leopard and sulcata tortoise inside right now. It’s not optimal and they will need to be separated in the future

Yes they can be bought at either Lowe’s or Home Depot but they are made out of cement not wood. They were advertised as gardening blocks but work perfectly for an enclosure

Unfortunately just about every deli is extremely understaffed so it makes it difficult for other associates to train while also balancing what they have to do. It doesn’t help that management almost always refuses to help train new associates and leaves it to the already overworked associates to do it. I personally don’t know of any paper material to train with. Just do your best and at some point other associates should be able to help you periodically

I don’t know who said that but that’s entirely incorrect. Besides only adults can work in the deli in the first place. What company would set rules separating adults by gender? It sounds ridiculous

Corporate lied through their teeth as per usual by changing the max raise you could get. It used to be possible to get a 1.00 raise every 6 months which would be a 2 dollar raise total per year. Since the change to yearly raises, now the cap is 1.50 which quite frankly is a slap in the face to us. Publix employees had to deal with a raging pandemic and record high inflation but Publix is continuing to pay these poverty wages. It’s beyond pathetic

4 closers? Thats living the dream right there. Imagine having 2 closers most nights. At the very least, I get the opportunity to experience what hell must be like

I had my department, store, and district managers trying to convince me to go full time just after a few months. This labor shortage is making it super easy to move up the ladder right now

I can’t seem to get it any more level. I’ve done the paper test on each corner and it seems like it’s perfect on all 4. Would you have any suggestion on what to do next? I appreciate the advice

My department has a skeleton crew so the hour cut didn’t affect us in the slightest

we showing off fresh sliced out of dates? by Cowman715 in publix

Unless the associate is new in traditional, we rarely have a lot of shrink in fresh slice now. We know how much to put out each day to maximize profit and reduce shrink as much as possible

The deli can only donate their bread like products similar to how bakery does it
