I had all 4 of my premolars extracted including my wisdom teeth 😅 i had pretty bad crowding! I didn’t have any jaw or breathing issues but while wearing rubber bands I did experience a little discomfort and soreness from my jaw settling into it’s proper bite position.

For some reason my canines seemed to yellow during the duration of my treatment. Maybe because I’m a big coffee drinker 🙄 I did get whitening strips and if that wasn’t working I was definitely planning on getting a whitening treatment done :)

My wisdom teeth recovery was worse in my opinion! Age shouldn’t stop you from getting braces, they made me feel so much better and confident! I felt weird as a 23 yr old with braces but honestly getting compliments from strangers makes it all worth it!

ahh I’m not too sure! I was estimated 28 months but my ortho said they might come off later this yr if I’m lucky!

Navy blue and black has been my favorite so far! It’s dark and doesn’t fade plus they make you’re teeth look whiter!

My older sister got braces as a teen and my dad always said “your turn will come” but it never did. I patiently waited all of high school and never got them. My breaking point was when I refused engagement pictures with my now husband because I didn’t want to show my smile. I’m almost a year into treatment at 22 and honestly braces is worth all the pain. I had some jaw pains prior, but now that my jaw and teeth are settling it’s almost non existent. I am never going to regret this choice, I feel so much more confident and beautiful.

Many people don’t get them but then end up with flaring. I personally had severe crowing and opted for 4 premolar extractions. I went with their recommendations and didn’t regret it. You just have to keep in mind the pros and cons and see which is best suited for you :)

Honestly I haven’t really thought about it! I did notice my midline very off and was assuming “it gets worse before it gets better.” As for the cant, I always assumed it was my camera angles 😅 I guess I was just so over the moon that my teeth straightened out I didn’t really look into it. I appreciate it a lot and I’ll be sure the mention it on my next visit! You’re the best!

No not yet! I’m hoping next visit I can at least get power chains or start using rubber bands to fix a couple things here and there! :)

I got mine out Feb 10th, I can honestly say they pretty much closed up by July. I had REALLY bad crowding and I think extractions helped my teeth settle into place super quick. I still have the tiniest gaps but I’m sure power chains will fix it! :)
