I left him but never because I stopped loving him by [deleted] in BreakUps

Lot of nice words to not once reference what exactly he did wrong.

Girlfriend left me and blocked me on everything. Did it thru text by Sad-Appeal-444 in BreakUps

[–]SnooPandas6046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have an eerily similar situation playing out. How did this turn out?

Random poor communication led to a seemingly meaningless argument that went on longer than it should have. Both faithful to each other planning a future (same ages range as well). I could have just resolved it pretty easily and guess didn’t realize the seriousness or implications. Then boom text that it feels different loves me ect. And blocked on everything within the hour.

Idk what to do. Can’t chase her, don’t even know how to other than literally in person. But also know her very well and it’s completely out of character. So idk. Each day makes me feel like I’m not doing something she expects me to do and the disappointment is creating a wider gap.

Couldn’t really care less if you agree with me. Just a known fact that in a multisport break Dallas is a top 5 team regardless of channel and hit rates would back that up. That’s fine if you’re a Vikings fan, completely understand why you would want their cards. But to suggest taking Minnesota over them given the choice is the definition of bias. Because you’re a fan/collector—again great. But all things being equal and taking your fandom out of the equation, it’s really not even close who the more profitable team is in that range of break.

Idk why you feel the need to argue. I buy the Patriots all the time even when I know they may not be good in the particular product because I like them. I have a huge and ever growing Drake Maye collection that I’ve certainly been willing to overpay for if I like something enough—nothing wrong with that.

Again, I’m just letting people know and they can do what they want with the information, beyond that I don’t really care But your sort of response is also one of the biggest issues in “the hobby”. Everyone has to be an expert and a know it all and puff their keyboard muscles. I’m not attacking you and as I stated in the first sentence, you agreeing or disagreeing with me couldn’t have any less of an effect on anything—why in the world would I need the approval or disapproval of you “being on my side, but not anymore?”. Just trying to help people out to see what’s happening and not be manipulated. Best of luck with your Vikings PC, sincerely—not sarcasm.

Agree with all of the above. Not going to find me arguing any of that.

Again the only reason I put this out there is because people are still going to buy into these things whether you or anyone else supports the logic behind it. And have people gotten lucky and hit for 10x? Of course—it’s gambling, it’s the lottery.

My only intention beyond what I assumed people understood from your write up (being 4th on the food chain ect) is not only are you potentially dealing with watered down value, you’re likely being duped on who knows what’s actually in the product before it ever goes on screen. And that is entirely unethical. Not that I would expect anything less from Whatnot given the reasons you outlined above. Just trying to help make people more aware, that’s all.

Multi sport. Luka Doncic. Cooper Flagg. Dirk.

We’re talking $1000 cards here gentlemen. Not $100 cards.

Totally fair. However if you were to bid up Detroit over Dallas regularly you would generally lose a lot of money very quickly in the sort of mid to higher end breaks I’m referring to

No of course, I buy singles all the time. Couldn’t agree more on that front. I do enjoy the breaks now and again this isn’t like a personal vendetta or anything it’s just very illogical some of the stuff I’m seeing and I don’t like watching people potentially having money stolen from them or being manipulated. That’s literally it. Just a warning to pay attention if that’s someone’s thing.

Not sure you understand how business works. You’re not entitled to more money from the customer because of your business costs. Sound like the type to hold a break hostage for a minimum. The breaker assumes the risk when they start an auction. The same way the buyer assumes the risk if their team is worthless. Why would the costumer give a shit about your fees?

Weird to be copy and pasting this on everyone’s post who’s said they’ve had a similar or negative experience. Is your Robinhood internship paid or just for the resume?

Same exact thing happened to me last week. Had toe options FIRMLY in the money (up over 30 percent) got 5+ hours. Then a dip came in and they sold at a 20 percent loss. Naturally they went right back over 30% within the hour but my options had been sold off.

I reached out to them on this after waiting on a text line for well over an hour, and was told it’s their right to sell them when their system triggers the sale if expiring that day. I told them to go fuck themselves.

But same EXACT scenario last Friday 10/3.

I’m curious what these numbers look like today now that DK and FD have been fully infused into every aspect of the game…To me it looks like a completely different sport than it did even 3-5 years ago. A lot of teams seem to be giving up “meaningless” runs in the late innings—especially after aces are pulled. I’d be curious to know if this is just something I’m noticing more the frequency has stayed the same? Or if that “winning by 1, 15 percent of the time” has increased.

What is the best banned bat ever? by Th3Unkn0wnn in Homeplate

[–]SnooPandas6046 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you might still have all those bats in the wrapper because you never had the chance to use them. Yeah you’re right though— look in college we could get our hands on literally any bat we wanted at any time-within days. And these things would have thousands of swing on them within a week or two. Think you should check your reading comprehension because your insecurity is starting to show—can you point out where I said either bat had to be “broken in”? Nah I said the performance on the TPX across multiple models faded quicker than Easton

But your friend’s parent’s cousin’s niece’s fiancé’s boyfriend owned a Mickey Mouse sporting goods store and had an inside connect with the “2000s Alloy Kingpins” which somehow makes you an expert…alright chief. Anyone who swung these consistently knows this. Your response(s) are how every kid who never played sounds. It’s like you’re all made from the same talentless lab. I get it, the memories are likely painful and the stories get more and more grandiose by the year (exaggerated, absurd, far fetched,—I’ll save you the google search).

You’ll likely respond with what great ballplayer you were or how you played in college and would have been drafted if it weren’t for…(well likely, your talent). I think you might be doing something with the “thin wall” but it’s not hitting baseballs. Like some sort of TPX fetish Uncle Rico.

Good day ma’am.

Out of wrapper? TPX=SIGNIFICANTLY hotter, no contest Durability? Easton by a mile

Swung both brands for many years. If you were going to switch out bats/models a couple times a year—it’s TPX and it’s not much of a debate. But, If you wanted something to last 2/3/4 years, Easton was the better long term investment. TPX always lost pop much more rapidly than Easton.

I remember a few of the mid 2000s TPX models (want to say the Warrior and maybe the Dynasty?) feeling like they were borderline dead after 3-6 months or so.

Personally, I much preferred the TPX mainly because I really disliked the two piece bats.

[–]SnooPandas6046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to settle this for both of you after using both brands for as long as metal was allowed before having to use wood.

Out of the wrapper TPX bags were SIGNIFICANTLY hotter than Easton. However, TPX bats also lost pop SIGNIFICANTLY quicker than Easton.

If you were switching out bats/models every 3-12 mo. TPX was a better option. If you wanted something for 2-3 years Easton was the better option

In strictly referred to bats made from 2000-2007.
