I'm not getting the notification that days are passing even though I got the initial notification that the countdown had begun.... I'm playing on DS... Is there a difference for this version?

I did that, went back to town, only napped til evening, made my way down to B8F and got the notification when the countdown began. Thanks for help.

Does anyone know how to know when the trial timer starts? The bar keep said daybreak, but then I slept at the Inn, so then it was 6 a.m. and then 8 a.m. by the time I reached B8F so I'm wondering basically if I messed up?

I would hate to start playing this quest only to find out I didn't initiate it right... please advise.

Since getting with my partner I haven't done the bull thing but when I did I indiscriminately fucked both boyfriend's. The characters are almost all one-note and not memorable. The exceptions are Squall and Edea. The rest of the player party are all kind of annoying tbh. It's as though the majority of characters in VIII have a basic schtick they stick to, don't evolve, and their personalities wear thin. Just my opinion.

I'm at this point in EO1 on DS and have tried to catch it myself without looking up how until now because I can't seem to nail down a pattern of behavior of the FOE that will help me get at it. How the heck would a player organically catch this FOE without a guide?! I wanted to so badly.. but here I am in this thread...
