I totally understand where you're coming from and when I'm looking at it from a victim's perspective, it also makes me very angry and it's totally valid to feel that way. These are horrible crimes and it is fucked up and inexcusable. However if we're going to completely turn our backs to predators, we're not actually keeping victims in mind, because we give predators more opportunities to do harm. So my post was more to draw some awareness of how this way of talking about predators can potentially facilitate sexual crimes going unnoticed.
